ESA Letter with Session

An Emotional Support Animal (ESA) is an animal that provides comfort and therapeutic benefit to individuals with a mental health condition. In some situations, the presence of an ESA may help alleviate symptoms related to conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, or other mental health concerns.

Under the Fair Housing Act, individuals with qualifying mental health conditions may request reasonable housing accommodations when an ESA is determined to be clinically beneficial.

We will determine if this is a need that meets the following:

We will Schedule a Counseling Consultation - Appointments may be conducted in person or through secure telehealth services, or even phone call when appropriate.

We will have you to Complete Intake Forms and Initial Assessments - Prior to the appointment, you will complete intake forms and provide information about your mental health history, current concerns, and any symptoms you are experiencing.
